Trish Yancey is a Unity Certified Spiritual Educator and Licensed Unity Teacher who has been an eager student of Unity and the principles of Truth since childhood. One of the staff writers for Daily Word magazine, her work also regularly appears in many of Unity’s booklets, products, and websites.

Trish has published three books designed to help families explore the Unity Movement’s history and philosophies together; The Five Come Alive! Bringing Unity’s Five Principles to Life for “Kids” of All Ages, The Heart of Prayer, and Unity: The His- and Her-story.

Thrilled to serve this amazing and thriving community, Trish strives to embrace and embody Unity’s philosophy of practical spirituality. Her presentational style is informal and relatable, often including props and tangible examples of Spirit found in everyday objects and situations. Sundays and classes are filled with serious opportunities for growth and learning, always delivered with a relaxed and enjoyable twist.

Mike Davis has been involved in ministry, education, and social work for over 25 years. He has been a Pastor, Youth Director, and Youth Advocate.

Mike loves the practical, inclusive, and positive message of Unity and loves to teach and share these principles that have empowered and transformed his life. His teaching style is practical and passionate with a simple desire to encourage and inspire.

Mike joined the leadership team of Unity of Sebring this year and looks forward to being a part of the difference this work can have in our world. “On my first visit to this church, I loved the warmth of the people and knew right away, I was home! I count it such an honor to serve such a great group of people”

Mike is enrolled and working toward his ordination as a Unity minister. He shares the Unity message on social media, through speaking engagements, and as the associate minister at Unity of Sebring.

Tena Conyer started volunteering for Unity of Sebring after marrying our previous (and founding) minister, Rev. Andrew Conyer, in 1995, and joining the church. She was a paralegal in a local law office for over 30 years before becoming our Administrative Assistant in 2013.

After Rev. Andy’s passing, Tena made it her mission to keep the church open and find our perfect and right next spiritual leader. That mission accomplished, she is now our Executive Director, working to continue spreading the Unity message to our community and beyond, leading Unity of Sebring to grow and prosper into the future.

She was also involved in the community as a Rotarian, becoming a Paul Harris Fellow and serving on her club’s board for several years. Tena provided thousands of volunteer service hours in a variety of positions for Highlands Lakeside Theater, serving as a member of the Board of Directors for over 10 years before being voted in as a Lifetime member.

She is blessed to have her children and grandchildren all residing in Sebring.

Sally Fernsel started piano lessons at age 7, played through childhood, and studied in college at Stetson University. She has more than a decade of professional musical experience, working in churches as an accompanist, a guest musician, and a Choir Director during that time.

About joining Unity of Sebring, she says, “I came to Unity church not knowing what I would find, and after the first visit I knew I wanted to come back. I am here because of the spiritual teachings and seeking spiritual growth. I am involved in the music because I enjoy music and working with people. I thank you all for the very warm welcome you are always ready to give.”

Sally leads our Voices of Unity chorale while sharing her skill on both piano and guitar, often gracing us with her beautiful voice as well. Our choir members have all shared how much they are enjoying the journey so far and say they can’t wait to see where we go musically from here!
